Visit to Mr. Gordon's House

My dad and I decided to meet Mr. Gordon. Mr. Gordon asked us if we were free Friday, 26 April, 2013 and if we could meet him at the same place Yuen Long Landmark Plaza at the Pizza Hut at 6:00 pm. But my dad had some assignments to complete. So, we decided to meet on Sunday, 28 April, 2013 at Mr. Gordon’s house at 6:00 pm and order pizza at his resident. My dad said, “I have some assignments to complete. So, you stay at your uncle’s house. After I finish my assignments then, we will go there.” And I agreed.

Then, the whole day I was with my uncle. And at around 3:00 pm, my dad phoned me and said to meet him at the Central. So, I got ready and went to the Central. After that we went straight to Hung Shui Kiu at Mr. Gordon resident. When we reached there, my dad also showed me the hospital where I was born, “Tuen Mun Hospital”. I looked at the hospital for a while. Then, my dad called me and we kept on moving towards Mr. Gordon’s resident. At the middle of nowhere, my dad phoned Mr. Gordon. I could see in his face that he did not know the way to Mr. Gordon’s resident. So, we stopped there for a while and he phoned him and they started talking. He moved on with his mobile phone at his ear. I followed him wherever he went. Then, as we kept moving, we could see Mr. Gordon at one corner of the road and we waved to him and he did the same. We went towards him and we said “Hello” to each other. Then, we followed Mr. Gordon to his resident.

When we reached his resident, the pizza had just arrived. Mrs. Gordon was at the door receiving the pizza and she welcomed us. She then said to us, “Sit down. Let us eat the pizza while it’s hot otherwise it’s not going to taste good. So, I and my dad sat down together with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon. Mrs. Gordon divided the pizza and everyone got two slices of pizza. We had some drinks also. Mrs. Gordon said that this was just a warm-up, there were still many dishes left to be eaten. Then, we had Canadian soup which was really good. It contained different vegetables like carrot, broccoli, etc. Mr. Gordon said that he had made two Nepali dishes by himself. So, we were desperate to try his dish. After we finished the pizza, Mrs. Gordon brought the rice and Mr. Gordon brought the Nepali dish he had prepared. It contained different ingredients like potato, beans, carrot, etc. It is called “Aalu Muttor” in Nepali. The dish was really good. Then, he brought the next Nepali dish he had prepared. It contained ingredients like potato, cucumber, carrot, etc. It is called “Potato Salad”. The dish was really good. I and my dad were full but Mr. Gordon shocked us that there was still next dish coming. It was ice-cream next in the list. We had the ice-cream. The ice-cream was also good.

Then, Mr. Gordon gave me an article to read. And I had to give a short presentation about the article. And I did the same. Then, Mr. Gordon showed me a video of a 9 year-old boy that played the piano really well. He was asked to play the piano in the Constitution Hall in the UK. It was really an awesome video. The boy used to practice the piano once each in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening. I liked the video very much.

Then, at around 7:50 pm, I and my dad were escorted to the to the KRT station by Mr. Gordon. So, we returned home by bidding goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Gordon. It was such a wonderful evening with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon. Well, the memories with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon are going to last forever. I would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Gordon for such a wonderful time. And I really loved Mr. and Mrs. Gordon house.
