Trip with my aunt

It was the day before Tuesday, 23 April, 2013. When I told my dad that I would like to go out the next day, my dad said that he will be really busy the next day. Then, he said that he will phone my aunt as it’s her holiday. So, he phoned my aunt and asked her whether she was free or not and could take me out. She agreed and my dad asked her to have lunch together then from there he would go to his university and we would go out.

Then the next day we had lunch together and my dad went to the university and me and my aunt decided to go for hiking to the top of Hong Kong Peak. We went to the Hong Kong Peak by a tram. While on the tram, my aunt showed me some pictures she took during her visit to different places. I knew that she was a graphic designer because my dad told about her. But I didn’t know that she was also a photographer. She said that it was her hobby to take photos. But, hats off to her skill of taking photo. So, I asked her whether she could teach some basics about taking photos. And she agreed with me. Later we got off the tram and then, we went to the Hong Kong Peak by catching another tram to the top of the Peak. The road was so steep to the top of the Peak. When, we reached to the station, we got off the tram. Then, we moved on to the Peak. After a while we were at the top of the Hong Kong Peak. There we could see many buildings of Hong Kong. In fact, we could see Hong Kong from up there. Well, it was such a great view from up there. Then, she took out here I-pad and started clicking some photos. Then she showed it to me. Well, I was speechless. She confessed that she could have taught me how to take photos if she had brought her camera with her. But she didn’t know that I was going to ask her. Nevertheless, she managed to teach me a little something about photography. Instead of that we also took photos of each other at the top of the peak. After a while, we came down the peak by tram.

Then we went to the Hong Kong Park where there was a sanctuary for different types of birds. She decided to go there. When we reached there, it was too late. The sanctuary was closed. The sanctuary opened from 9 am- 5 pm and we reached there at 5:10 pm. Man… it was just 10 minutes difference. Then we went down the park where I saw a place where marriage takes place from time to time. I also saw a pond where many types of fishes lived in. Then we rested there for a while.

After that we went to sail at the ferry. We bought the tickets and we went in the station. After the ferry arrived, we got into it and started to sail. From the ferry we could see many other big and small boats and ferries. We also saw the sun setting down the ocean. Then, we clicked some photos of the sun and of the various ferries. After we got off from the ferry, we went to an island where statues of different actors were built there. I took photo with Bruce Lee’s statue. There were also statues of other equipment of shooting picture. The most interesting was that there were statues of the director sitting in a chair and a producer shooting with a camera. It was such a nice statue.

After that, I and my aunt had dinner and I returned home and my aunt returned as well. It was so much fun going out with my aunt. I hope someday we will go for a trip again and that time you might bring your camera along with you. So, thank you for giving me such a wonderful time. After I returned home, I slept a very good night sleep..
