Solitary City

"It's like I've been addicted to this. It's like this has become my comfort zone. It's like dozing off and waking up to this has become my salvation. Salvation from this solitary city.

For once, I used to wake up to a king-size bed to myself and gaze up to the silky clouds touched by the morning rays, and down to the old and frail couple selling tea and donut in their own small spot. Everybody would look up to my building, but now, I look up and everybody looks down.

Right now, I look up, but for some reason, I can't see those silky clouds touched with rays looking ever so heavenly. I got lost in this small vast city. This isolation has become my friend."
